Reminder: BCC to Hold Regular Meeting Aug. 6

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will hold its regular meeting Thursday, Aug. 6. The Committee of the Whole Workshop begins at 9 a.m., Public Forum begins at 4:30 p.m., and the Regular BCC Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.

All meetings will take place in the board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, located on the first floor of 221 Palafox Place. View the COW meeting agenda here and the Regular BCC Meeting agenda here.

All commission meetings can also be viewed live on channel 4 on Cox, channel 98 for Spectrum and Mediacom (Pensacola Beach) subscribers and channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers. An online speaker sign-up form is available for individuals who wish to speak during the Gary Sansing Public Forums and Escambia County Board of County Commissioners meetings. Click here to access the form. In-person forms will be available prior to the start of public forums and commission meetings.

Members of the public who would like to present a video, photo, PowerPoint, electronic presentation, or other visual aid when speaking at an Escambia County BCC Meeting or Public Forum must submit all materials no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Visual aids should be submitted to [email protected] or via removable media device/USB drive delivered to 221 Palafox Place, Suite 410. Visual aids must be no longer than 3 minutes or must remain within the time allotted to each speaker, as determined by the BCC Chair.
