Strong intellectual property rights encourage the development of new ideas and technologies and make a country attractive to capital and investment. Hungary excels in these areas.

The WIPO is doing important work to help young people, women and small and medium-size enterprises to become more aware of their rights and better exploit the economic potential of their inventions, ideas and creations.

The parties agreed that innovation and invention cannot be divided by ideology.
Daren Tang expressed his gratitude to Hungary for its continued support of WIPO and the international intellectual property system and wished the country success in its EU Presidency.
