The Summary The Transcript

In the latest installment of our video series Leaders Among Us, Boston University President Melissa Gilliam speaks with award-winning television news anchor and media personality Glenda Chong (COM'97). Based in Singapore, she has covered major news stories over the course of her career, including the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

During their conversation, Chong talks about how her BU education and college internships helped launch her career. She also discusses how she found her voice as an undergraduate student and what it means to be a good leader.

The two spoke earlier this spring during the 20th annual BU Asia Alumni Forum in Singapore.
