AM Best Assigns Credit Ratings to MTAW Insurance Company

AM Best has assigned a Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of "a+" (Excellent) to MTAW Insurance Company (MTAW) (Wilmington, DE). The outlook assigned to these Credit Ratings (ratings) is stable.

The ratings assigned to MTAW reflect its reinsurance agreement with United States Fire Insurance Company. The ratings also reflect Crum & Forster Insurance Group's consolidated balance sheet strength, which AM Best assesses as very strong, as well as its adequate operating performance, neutral business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management. As a result of MTAW's reinsurance agreement, its credit risk is reflected within United States Fire Insurance Company's balance sheet going forward.
