Continues fifth annual 12 Days of Giving campaign in Bozeman

Governor's Office

BOZEMAN, Mont. - On the ninth day of his 12 Days of Giving, Governor Greg Gianforte contributed a quarter of his annual salary to ZoeCare, a nonprofit pregnancy support clinic in Bozeman that provides free pregnancy and parenting support services to Montanans.

In October 2020, the governor committed to Montanans he would contribute his salary as governor to nonprofit organizations and charities in the state.

"For nearly 50 years, ZoeCare has provided care and resources to young mothers and families," Gov. Gianforte said. "As we continue our 12 Days of Giving, I'm proud to support the nonprofit with its mission to support Montana mothers and stronger families."

Founded in 1978 in the Gallatin Valley, ZoeCare has served mothers and families for 47 years. At the clinic, doctors, nurses, social workers, and other professionals and volunteers provide free health care services such as ultrasounds and pregnancy tests, as well as information to women and families including pregnancy and parenting support and services. According to ZoeCare, the clinic serves approximately one thousand clients each year.

Additionally, the clinic serves new parents through programs like Mom2Mom, beingDAD, and Embrace Grace, to provide education, mentoring, life coaching, free diapers, and even meals for new parents. The clinic also partners with local schools and churches to provide sexual health education courses to middle and high school students.

During a recent visit to ZoeCare, the governor toured the clinic, met with staff, and saw firsthand how their programs support individuals and families throughout the Gallatin Valley and heard about their plans for expansion. Recently purchasing the space next to their existing location, ZoeCare has plans to expand the clinic to add three more patient rooms and hire an additional doctor.

"We are grateful for the governor's personal financial support of our mission and the clients we serve," said Chris Grinnell, ZoeCare Executive Director. "This contribution strengthens our ability to provide compassionate care and practical support to women, men, and families who come to us in moments of need."

ZoeCare relies on the generosity of Montanans to help women and families with pregnancy, postpartum support, and health needs. More information on the clinic and ways to support may be found here .
