DENVER - Tonight, Governor Jared Polis congratulated the Democratic and Republican nominees for Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Treasurer.
"I want to start by thanking Colorado's voters - Democrats, Republicans and Independents - who voted and made their voices heard. Our democracy is stronger when people participate, and your decision to vote in a primary makes a positive difference for our state. Congratulations to tonight's nominees including Phil Weiser and our too-close-to-call GOP candidate for Governor, Amanda Gonzalez and James Wiley for Secretary of State, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Grantham for State Treasurer, and Jena Griswold and Michael J. Allen for Attorney General! Thank you all for stepping forward to run for office and your willingness to serve the people of Colorado. Our state continues to set the gold standard for elections by making it safe, easy, and secure to vote, and I'm grateful to our county clerks, election judges, election workers, and every Coloradan who took the time to participate in our democracy. Democracy depends on participation, and tonight Coloradans once again showed up to make their voices heard," said Governor Polis.
Final results will be certified following the process in accordance with Colorado law. Based on unofficial election results reported by the Colorado Secretary of State, the above candidates have secured their parties' nominations and will advance to the November 3, 2026, General Election.
