Willkie is representing B&G Foods, Inc. (NYSE: BGS) in its acquisition of the broth and stock business of Del Monte Foods Corporation II Inc. and its affiliates for approximately $110 million in cash.

On January 15, B&G Foods announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire the broth and stock business, including the College Inn and Kitchen Basics brands. It was the winning bidder for the broth and stock business following a competitive auction process that was conducted in connection with the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings of Del Monte Foods Corporation II Inc. and certain of its affiliates.

B&G Foods and its subsidiaries manufacture, sell and distribute high-quality, branded shelf-stable and frozen foods across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
