Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Shen Bo Visits the Dutch Meat Association

On September 1, H.E. Mr. Shen Bo,Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands visited the Dutch Meat Association and exchanged views with its Chairman, Ms. Manon Houben and other representatives.

Mr.Shen Bo stated that with China's high-quality economic development and rising incomes of Chinese citizens, the domestic market's demand for high-end meat products and quality protein is constantly growing. China is willing to further share market and development opportunities with the Netherlands and strengthen cooperation in areas such as meat products. Ms.Houben expressed optimism about China's economic development prospects and confidence in the Chinese market, and said she looks forward to further deepening bilateral cooperation in trade of meat product. The two sides also exchanged views on deepening China-EU economic and trade cooperation.

Mr. Jin Yuan, Counsellor in charge of economic and commercial affairs, and other officials of the Embassy attended the meeting.
