Transit impacts for 2-Court Street route begin March 9
Beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, the 2-Court Street bus will begin to detour due to construction on the Court Street Reconstruction Project.
The outbound detour will be Burlington Street to Muscatine Avenue to Second Avenue to Court Street. A temporary stop has been added to the outbound portion of the route on the southeast corner of Second Avenue at Court Street.
The inbound detour will be Court Street to Second Avenue to Muscatine Avenue to Burlington Street. A temporary stop has been added to the inbound portion of the route on Court Street at Second Avenue.
Outbound stops that will not be serviced during this detour are listed below:
- Court Street at Seventh Avenue (Stop 7236)
- Court Street at Morningside Drive (Stop 7303)
- Court Street at Fourth Avenue (Stop 8215)
Inbound stops that will not be serviced during this detour are listed below:
- Court Street at Fourth Avenue (Stop 7307)
- Court Street at Morningside Drive (Stop 7304)
- Court Street at Seventh Avenue (Stop 7237)
Passengers using the 2-Court Street route can use 9-Towncrest stops along Muscatine Avenue between Court Street and 2nd Avenue.
