Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group Welcomes Audrey Chong-Gayle, MD, FAAP, and Her Practice to Our Community Network

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY, March 30, 2026 - Audrey Chong-Gayle, MD, FAAP, with her practice, South Shore Pediatrics of Stony Brook, has joined Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group, part of Stony Brook Medicine's expanding network of community practices. Dr. Chong-Gayle is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 30 years of experience, including 25 years in private practice, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and families across Long Island.

Dr. Chong-Gayle earned her medical degree from the University of Montemorelos in Mexico and completed her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, where she served as chief resident.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chong-Gayle is deeply committed to medical education and mentorship, as she has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Zucker School of Medicine for more than a decade. She has also participated in numerous medical missions, providing pediatric care in underprivileged countries including Jamaica, Peru, Haiti and St. Lucia.
