The City of Tulsa is recognizing the significant community impact made by programs and agencies that have received support through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) as part of National Community Development Week.
The CDBG and HOME funding programs have expanded affordable housing in Tulsa by supporting home rehabilitation projects. These programs also strengthened anti-poverty initiatives, children and youth services, economic development opportunities, job training, and other essential social services.
While Program Year 2025 is still underway, Program Year 2024 CDBG and HOME funds served 10,515 Tulsans through 21 nonprofit partner projects and 2 public facilities improvements. Funded community improvements from July 2024 - June 2025 included:

As background, the City of Tulsa's CDBG and HOME funds provide vital funding to address the needs of underserved communities and improve the quality of life of low- and moderate-income Tulsans.
