Aspirus Health Welcomes Nurse Practitioner Ezra Sanchez to the Wound Care Team at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Ezra Sanchez, APNP, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, to its Wound Care team. Sanchez brings advanced clinical expertise in Wound Management, Critical Care Medicine, and Hyperbaric Medicine, further strengthening Aspirus' commitment to providing specialized care for patients with complex wounds and acute medical needs.

Sanchez is guided by a personalized philosophy of care that centers on building meaningful relationships with patients and families. "Healing is most successful when patients feel seen, heard, and supported," Sanchez said. "By taking the time to understand each person's story, we can create care plans that truly fit their lives and help them move toward long-term wellness. I'm honored to serve the Stevens Point community and support patients on their healing journey."

Sanchez joins Aspirus with a strong background in adult and geriatric acute care. His clinical practice focuses on supporting patients with chronic wounds, acute health conditions, and recovery from critical illness. He is known for delivering compassionate, individualized care that reflects the needs of the Stevens Point community.

Ezra earned his degree from Walden University and holds advanced certifications from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care. He is also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). His specialized training equips him to manage acute, critical, and complex chronic health conditions with an emphasis on advanced wound healing and stabilizing patients in critical care environments.

Outside of his clinical work, Sanchez enjoys exploring Wisconsin's natural beauty. He is an avid outdoorsman who spends his free time camping, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Sanchez is now accepting new patients at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital located at 824 Illinois Avenue.
