In 2021, CER published a rail ticketing roadmap aimed at further improving the customer experience when planning, booking and travelling internationally by rail.
CER members committed to goals to enhance the passenger experience within the Single European Railway Area to be achieved by 2025 and 2030.
Five years later, European railways are successfully transitioning from conceptual planning to the large-scale operational delivery of improved ticketing conditions for international travellers.
