July 13, 2026: Wisconsin Cranberry Board Election Underway​

MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has certified two nominees that are eligible to be elected to two seats on the Wisconsin Cranberry Board. Beginning July 10, 2026, cranberry growers ​have until August 15 to vote on the following candidates:

  • ​Asa Bennet, Wisconsin Rapids
  • Jason Minks, Kennan​

DATCP mailed ballots to eli​gible cranberry growers the week of July 6, 2026. Producers that have not received a ballot by July 19, 2026, can request one by contacting the DATCP Market Orders Program at [email protected]. Completed ballots must be mailed to ​DATCP, Marketing Order Program, P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708 and postmarked on or before August 15, 2026.

Elected producers will serve three-year terms beginning September 1, 2026.​

About the Wisconsin Cranberry Board

The Wisconsin Cranberry Board is composed of seven producers across the state. The board oversees the collection and use of approximately $550,000 in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin cranberry growers. This funding is used to support the cranberry industry through research, education, and the promotion of Wisconsin-grown cranberries.
