President of the Republic meets Left Alliance Parliamentary Group
On Wednesday 20 May 2026, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb received the Left Alliance Parliamentary Group at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.
In addition to the chair of the parliamentary group, Aino-Kaisa Pekonen, seven representatives of the group participated in the meeting. During the meeting, current foreign and security policy issues were discussed, such as the situation in the Middle East and Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the year, President Stubb has met the parliamentary groups of the Social Democratic Party, the Centre Party, the National Coalition Party and the Finns Party. Meetings with the parliamentary groups will continue throughout the spring.
