Youth Protection Conference is Oct. 7-8

The Office of Compliance and Ethics is hosting a Fall 2026 Youth Protection Conference Oct. 7-8 in the Micron Business and Economics Building, Room 4100. Featuring nationally recognized experts from Praesidium and the Higher Education Protection Network, and experienced campus professionals, this conference will provide practical guidance, real-world examples and valuable resources for professionals responsible for youth protection and safety. Participants will learn prevention strategies, risk management practices and practical approaches for protecting minors participating in camps, outreach programs, athletics programs and other youth-serving activities.

There is no cost for Boise State employees and volunteers to attend. Attendees can choose to attend one or both days. Registration is $75 for external participants. Breakfast, lunch and parking are provided both days.
