McKinney National Airport (TKI) has a new brand identity, an important step as it prepares to deliver commercial airline service. The warm-toned wing icon, which blends the past with TKI's future, is paired with the airport's name in a typography that is friendly and approachable. The brand is reflected on TKI's website at www.FlyTKI.com.
The new brand color palette in soft teals and natural brown tones is inspired by McKinney's historic town sign and warm and welcoming community. The logo design reflects TKI's roots serving general aviation for more than 40 years to its future focused on progress, connectivity, and economic growth through commercial flights beginning in late 2026.
"We continue to build something special at McKinney National Airport with a new passenger terminal currently under construction and a new brand that honors our past and transitions TKI into our next era of commercial airline service," said Airport Director Ken Carley, A.A.E. "Serving our community's travel needs is at the forefront of everything we do, and we're proud to share our new brand that conveys a better way to travel is taking off at TKI."
The new logo and colors will be incorporated into the terminal building's design and finishes. They will also be applied to future airport assets including roadway signage, visual communications, vehicle markings, employee uniforms, and marketing and communications materials.
