Throughout May, Türkiye offices celebrated Founders Month by creating meaningful impact through community-focused projects. With the goal of supporting underserved youth and children, 54 Turner volunteers came together to deliver 6 social responsibility projects across 3 cities in Türkiye, investing 355 person-hours of dedication and support. We are proud that Turner International Türkiye was recognized on Great Place To Work® Türkiye's "Best Workplaces for Social Responsibility & Volunteering™ 2025" list!
May 14, Düştepe Toy Museum Park, Ataşehir
Together with children from the Atlas Aid Foundation Kindergarten, we held a joyful rhythm and dance workshop at the Düştepe Toy Museum Park. Our workshop facilitators and volunteer team members spent an energetic and cheerful morning dancing and making music with the children. As part of the project, we donated musical instruments to the kindergarten to help enhance its educational capacity.
May 22, Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden, Ataşehir
We joined children from the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV) Kartal Learning Center at the Nature Festival held in Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden. Together, we participated in nature-themed workshops, played games, and spent a meaningful and educational day experiencing the importance of environmental protection.
May 27, Düştepe Toy Museum & Universal Values Museum, Ataşehir
In collaboration with the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV) İpek Kıraç Learning Unit, we visited two museums with students from Mehmet Emin Pulat Konak Primary School. Through themes of play, values, and history, we shared a day of cultural discovery and fun learning experiences with the children.
May 28, Eskitaşlı Primary School, Lüleburgaz, Kırklareli
In cooperation with GENKAD (Youth Participation Sports Club), we held the "Artful Movement Festival with Little Hearts" at Eskitaşlı Primary School. Our volunteer team members created a vibrant festival space filled with educational games and workshops. Through dance, creative drama, face painting, and movement workshops, we supported children's social and emotional development while making learning fun.
May 31, Balat Culture House, Istanbul
We took part in a generative AI workshop organized by the Soroptimist Clubs Federation at Balat Culture House, designed specifically for girls. With our volunteer team members and technology support, we contributed to increasing digital access for girlsand helped enhance the center's educational capacity.
June 4, Tarsus 100th Year Middle School, Mersin
In May, we initiated a partnership with Tarsus 100th Year Middle School in Mersin to support the development of the school's educational infrastructure. During our visit on June 4, our volunteer team delivered a range of resources to improve the learning environment, including technology equipment, educational materials, and periodicals. We also helped organize the school library by placing donated books together with the students-making our contribution both meaningful and lasting.
