WYDOT maintenance crews will be working on Teton Pass

JACKSON, Wyo. - The Wyoming Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working on various sections of Wyoming State Highway 22, Teton Pass, beginning Monday, Aug 17^th.

Crews will be cleaning ditches and performing various maintenance work, beginning on the Idaho side of Teton Pass. The work will take place during daytime hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday each week through the rest of month. Drivers will see lane closures, flagger-controlled traffic, and short delays. Crews will not be working on the weekend.

As crews work their way to the east side of Teton Pass, the Phillips Ridge dirt lot, located at about mile marker 9.6, will be closed for crews to unload debris collected from the road shoulders and ditches. Crews estimate the closure will begin on Monday, August 24^th.and will last 2-3 days. However, the closure time will depend on the progression of work.

Drivers are asked to avoid parking in the Phillips Ridge dirt lot during that time and watch for roadside workers and slow-moving maintenance vehicles. The work should be completed by the end of the month.
