Man Deceased After Shooting In Northeast Portland

A man has died following a shooting in Northeast Portland. Portland Police Homicide Detectives are responding to investigate. Additional information will be released when appropriate.

A Man has been shot and killed in the Parkrose neighborhood.
On Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:04 p.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to the area of Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived at the location, they found a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The man died at the scene.
Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives have responded to the scene to investigate. If anyone has information about this incident, they are asked to please send an email to [email protected]or call 503-823-0479. Please reference case number 25-261972.
During the investigation, Northeast 102nd Avenue will be closed north of Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
The identity of the victim will be released after the Medical Examiner has confirmed the cause of death and after family members have been notified. The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.
