Through the generous support of FSU's leadership and administration, the InternFSU: TLH Pilot Program will select 10 local small businesses to each host one paid InternFSU: TLH student during the Fall, Spring & Summer semesters. The program's mission is to support local small businesses build capacity to host paid high-impact internship opportunities in Tallahassee.
The local business would hire and pay a student intern no less than $16 per hour for at least 10 hours per week January 7th-April 24th, 2026. At the conclusion of semester the 10 selected internship sites will submit an invoice for associated internship costs up to $1,500 for reimbursement.
Applications to be a Spring 2026 InternFSU: TLH site close at 11:59 PM on October 13th, 2025.
• Local businesses/companies: submit your application to participate during the Spring 2026 semester via https://fsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dgSjWGI8t7vTAOO now until October 13th, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
o Information Sessions (via Zoom, no pre-registration necessary - https://fsu.zoom.us/j/93539493799) offered:
- Monday, October 6th > 3:00-3:30 PM & 4:00-4:30 PM
- Wednesday, October 8th > 11:00-11:30 PM & Noon-12:30 PM
- Friday, October 10th > 9:00-9:30 AM & 11:30 AM-Noon
o To qualify for participation in InternFSU: TLH, a company/business must be:
- local, for-profit small business headquartered in Leon County
- able to hire and pay a student intern no less than $16 per hour for at least 10 hours per week January 7th-April 24th, 2026
- at the conclusion of semester the selected internship sites will submit an invoice for associated internship costs up to $1,500 for reimbursement
- eligible to complete the vendor registration process for Florida State University
