Carolinas Adaptive Standing Tennis Tournament Slated for October 3-5

The 2025 Carolinas Adaptive Standing Tennis (CAST) Tournament takes place October 3-5 at the Pinetop Neighborhood Resort, 3723 Pinetop Rd.

The weekend will start off with doubles play at 4 pm on Friday, October 4. The tournament will continue on Saturday with an 8:45 am start time and continue through the day before concluding with the last matches of the day at 3:30 pm. On Sunday finals play begins at 9:30 am, while the singles top division championship starts at 1 pm.

The event features Para Standing Tennis (PST) and includes a single-elimination tournament in both coed singles and doubles. PST is an inclusive form of adaptive tennis that provides access to the sport for individuals with physical disabilities through modifications that may include adaptive equipment (prosthetic devices), modified rules (such as allowing two bounces), adjusted court size, and flexible match formats.

The tournament is presented by the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department, Guilford Regional Tennis Association (GRETA), and the Pinetop Neighborhood Resort.
