ITB 2026-1000-0268 HAzardous Materials Storage Units
Purpose of the ITB
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DFFP), is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide hazardous materials storage units for the storage of flammable Class III liquids. The units will be used to safely store fuel and related materials in support of DFFP operations and will be designed for outdoor installation. All units must comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes and safety requirements. Detailed specifications and performance requirements for the storage units are provided in Section 2.01 - Scope of Work of the attached ITB.
Deadline for Receipt of Bids
Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on April 3, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.
Questions
All questions must be in writing and directed to the procurement officer. The interested party must confirm telephone conversations in writing. Two types of questions generally arise. One may be answered by directing the questioner to a specific section of the ITB. These questions may be answered over the telephone. Other questions may be more complex and may require a written amendment to the ITB. The procurement officer will make that decision. The deadline for questions is 2:00 PM Alaska Standard Time, on March 30, 2026.
