Montgomery, Ala. - The City of Montgomery is proud to celebrate being named a 2026 All-America City Award winner by the National Civic League-one of only ten communities nationwide to earn this prestigious honor. The award recognizes cities that strengthen civic health and build trust through resident engagement, collaboration, and community-driven solutions.
To commemorate this national achievement, the City will host an All-America Cities Celebration Block Party on Tuesday, September 10, from 5-7 PM in front of City Hall (103 N. Perry Street). The event is free and open to the public.
During the celebration, the President of the National Civic League will join City leaders and Montgomery residents to formally present the award and plaque to the City of Montgomery. This special moment highlights the partnerships, programs, and community involvement that helped Montgomery earn the All-America City designation.
