The City of West Hollywood is proud to co-sponsor the California LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce's 2026 LGBTQ Procurement Summit & Business Expo. This two-day educational and networking event will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the Business Expo, which will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Plummer Park's Fiesta Hall, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard.
The event is designed to empower LGBTQ-owned businesses and provide essential information on the benefits of certification, pathways to contracting, along with insights from expert panelists and will provide opportunities for attendees to learn from and connect with local entrepreneurs, industry leaders, buyers, and successful certified business owners.
To participate in the LGBTQ Procurement Summit, attendees must register in advance and pay a nominal fee of $25 to help cover the cost of lunch and programming. Please note that no one will be turned away due to a lack of funds. Participation in the Business Expo is free; however, pre-registration is recommended. For more information, please visit lgbtqprocurementsummit.com. Register via Eventbrite.
The LGBTQ Procurement Summit and Business Expo aims to provide resources to LGBTQ-owned businesses to obtain Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) certification. The event will also facilitate networking and business matchmaking opportunities for these certified businesses. LGBTBE certification is a valuable tool for LGBTQ-owned businesses, as it provides increased visibility and access to supplier diversity programs, contracting opportunities, and institutional purchasing networks.
The California LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce provides resources, events, and programs to support a network of more than 5,000 LGBTQ professionals and business owners. As a statewide chamber, it empowers California's LGBTQ business community through strategic partnerships, public policy advocacy, LGBTBE certification, technical assistance, and expanded contracting opportunities, while increasing visibility for LGBTQ-owned businesses.
