Conversant Capital Closes Over $845M for Inaugural Private Investment Fund

Press releases | October 7, 2026

Fried Frank advised Conversant Capital LLC (Conversant), an opportunistic real estate investment firm, on its inaugural private investment fund, Conversant Private Investment Fund (CPIF or the Fund), with $845 million in equity capital commitments raised collectively by the commingled fund and dedicated co-investment funds. CPIF is backed by a diverse group of sophisticated global institutional investors and builds on Conversant's track record of deploying flexible capital across a range of real estate and real estate-related opportunities. With the Fund's closing, Conversant now manages approximately $3.2 billion in assets. For more on the final closing of CPIF, read Conversant's press release.

This fundraise is a continuation of Fried Frank's work advising leading private investment firms on their long-term investment strategies.

The Fried Frank team was led by, among others, asset management partner Kedar H. Mehta, tax partner Libin Zhang, executive compensation and ERISA partner Andrea L. Pollak, and asset management associates Devin Balkaran, Natalie Holland and Esteban Herpin.
