Bristol Resident Sentenced for Luring a Child and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

The Attorney General's Office announced that Cole Lossmann, 35, of Bristol, Vermont, was sentenced today in Vermont Superior Court, Addison Criminal Division, after pleading guilty to one felony charge of Luring a Child and one misdemeanor charge of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

The Court, Judge Alison Arms presiding, sentenced Mr. Lossmann to a deferred sentence with three years of probation on the felony count of Luring a Child. On the misdemeanor count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, the Court sentenced the defendant to six months to two in prison, all suspended, with three years of probation to run concurrently.

Conditions of Mr. Lossmann's probation prohibit him from contacting the victim and require him to complete individual mental health counseling and treatment. He is also prohibited from having contact with children under age 16.

If Mr. Lossmann violates the conditions of his probation, he faces up to five years in prison.
