LONDON - March 24, 2026 - Greenberg Traurig, LLP's London office advised GSR, cryptocurrency's capital markets partner, on its $57 million acquisition of Autonomous and Architech, two leading digital asset advisory firms.
The transaction marks a significant strategic expansion for GSR as it builds an integrated capital markets and treasury platform for tokenized organizations. Autonomous, an end-to-end token launch, finance, and operations platform, will continue to operate under its existing brand within the GSR group. Architech, which has advised on token launches with a combined peak fully diluted value exceeding $10 billion, will form the foundation of the newly created GSR Digital Asset Advisory division.
Together, the acquisitions position GSR to deliver coordinated support across the full token lifecycle - spanning foundation structuring, governance design, token economics, fundraising, exchange strategy, treasury management, and long-term capital planning.
The team was delighted to have assisted GSR on this acquisition and was led by Henrietta Walker, shareholder on London's Corporate team, and comprised Jazmin Cole, associate; Justin Hool, associate; and Anna Goodes, trainee solicitor. The transaction was supported by Alex Tostevin, shareholder, and Archie Vickers, associate, on our Tax team; Virginia Allen, shareholder, and Julia Nefedovica, associate, on our Labor & Employment team; Manish Das, Antitrust Litigation & Competition Regulation shareholder; Ewen Mitchell, Intellectual Property and Data Privacy consultant; with cross-border support from Natasha L.
