Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Zhou Limin Attends the Wedding Ceremony of Swedish Friends of China

On June 13, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin and his wife Zhang Guoying attended the wedding ceremony of Swedish friends of China in Södertälje at the invitation of the newlyweds.

The groom, Mattias Lind, and the bride, Gwendoline Flückiger, won first place in the Swedish and Swiss preliminary rounds, respectively, of the "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students in 2017. They met and got to know each other while participating in the global finals of the competition in China, and deepened their bond during their studies in China. After returning to Europe, they continued to devote themselves to promoting language and cultural exchanges between China and Europe. United by shared aspirations and pursuits, they eventually became life partners.
