Have you ever been interested in learning more about podcasting or maybe even producing your own podcast? This Maymester, learn more about the podcasting industry, including how to write and produce a podcast, the major companies involved in podcasting, studio set up and editing, how to promote a program, jobs available in the industry and more in "Podcasting for Beginners." By the end of the semester, students will successfully be able to:
- Have a clear understanding of the podcasting industry and how this business operates.
- Produce a quality podcast program.
- Write a podcast episode script.
- Understand how to set up a studio to record and edit a podcast.
- Understand podcast marketing and promotion.
- Understand the ethical and legal concerns of podcasting.
This Maymester course offers all course content on-demand and is only four weeks long.
