RROB Author Lecture Available Aug. 25

Free tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, Aug. 25, for the Richardson Reads One Book author lecture featuring Kate Messner, author of "The Trouble with Heroes." The lecture will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15, at First United Methodist Church Richardson, 503 N. Central Expy.

Richardson Reads One Book (RROB) is an annual community reading program that encourages people across Richardson to read and discuss the same book. Each year, the program includes activities and discussions leading up to a visit from the featured author.

Messner will discuss "The Trouble with Heroes," this year's RROB selection, during the Sept. 15 event. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the lecture begins at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to two per order and email address.

Tickets and more information will be available beginning Aug. 25.
