Roggeveen Leads Loyola Law Moot Court Team to National Championship

Taft Chicago attorney Nicollette Roggeveen coached Loyola University Chicago School of Law's National Moot Court Team in the Annual National Moot Court Competition. Loyola's team finished second in the regional rounds and advanced to the national finals in New York City in Feb. 2026, where they emerged as national champions. The team placed first among nearly 1,000 competitors from over 120 law schools across the country. One Loyola student was also recognized as the competition's best oralist.

Loyola's moot court program fields 16 Moot Court competition teams. Faculty, alumni, and other members of the bar serve as coaches for the teams. Roggeveen is proud to have served as a coach for nearly 10 years.

Roggeveen focuses her practice on all stages of complex commercial litigation in both federal and state trial courts.
