If your neighborhood doesn't have its own gathering or you want to join something bigger, come to our block party for activities, games, and food. It's free to all.
As neighbors around Berkeley come together on National Night Out, you also have the option to come to a City-hosted block party featuring activities for kids and food for all.
While getting to know your neighbors at events near you is the foundation of building a community, our citywide event in central Berkeley is a chance to meet people from across the city and also connect with staff from Police, Fire, Parks, and Recreation.
Our block party will have giant inflatable jumpers, carnival games, food, and more. In coming to this or other National Night Out events, join us to build a safer, healthier Berkeley:

This block party - co-hosted by McGee Avenue Baptist Church and the City of Berkeley Recreation Division's Teen Program - features:
The nearest public transit bus lines are #12, J, and F, and the event is within walking distance from Ashby BART. Plan your trip by bus using AC Transit's route planner. Or bike there on our bike boulevards.
When parking, please don't block driveways or double park.
This block party is one of many events the City's Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront Department team puts on throughout the year. The Department offers camps, classes, and activities for a variety of age groups and backgrounds. Use our online recreation portal to see all offerings.
