Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union and Holy Cross Health helped collect over 100 toys for local children ages 17 and under for the 2024 holiday season. The toys were distributed to families in need to make the season a little brighter.

Credit union members, as well as those throughout the community, were asked to drop off a new, unwrapped toy to any Mid-Atlantic FCU branch in Germantown, Gaithersburg, or Silver Spring. The response was overwhelming, with over 100 new toys donated before the end of the drive.
"We are incredibly grateful to our members and those throughout the community for their overwhelming backing of our toy drive to benefit families supported by Holy Cross Health," said Tami Schiavone, Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union President and CEO. "Thanks to those contributions, plenty of kids will have a better holiday season."
The credit union and health provider plan to promote the successful Spread the Joy, Give a Toy campaign again during the 2025 holiday season.
