Penn State Altoona English program to host screening of ‘Halloween’
Just in time for the spookiest day of the year, Penn State Altoona's English Program will host a screening of John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic "Halloween" on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in room 150 of the Hawthorn Building.

ALTOONA, Pa. - Just in time for the spookiest day of the year, Penn State Altoona's English Program will host a screening of John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic "Halloween" on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in room 150 of the Hawthorn Building.
Learn more about the English major and the digital writing and media minor at the event, plus hang out after the movie for a discussion with faculty and other students about horror as a genre. Pizza will be provided.
