Spain welcomes the new agreement between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 establishing a verification mechanism for the ceasefire.

Spain supports the Democratic Republic of Congo in its call for the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda to surrender their weapons.

These are necessary steps in advancing the ongoing peace process.
