This year's Juneteenth Bike Tour will visit twentieth-century Black businesses near downtown - from beauty shops to banks and much more. Highlights include architect Edward Jenkins, haberdasher Harold Cotton, beautician Pauline Farrar McCain and other Gate City entrepreneurs.
Check-in and orientation begins at 9 am. This is a free tour, but registration is required and spots are limited. Register through Bicycling in Greensboro by June 19.
Bring your own bike or reserve a free/discounted bike to use by filling out this form: Reserve a Bike to Borrow. Reservations for bicycles will be open until Wednesday, June 17. Helmets are required, but can be provided by contacting Nicole Lindahl.
