Lakewood, NJ - Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus will host a free, in-person new Mom & Baby Nursing Support Group for moms and their infants living in Lakewood and the surrounding towns. The first group will meet on January 14th at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 600 River Avenue, third floor conference room. The support group will continue on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and participants can join at any time.
The Nursing Support Group will offer mother-to-mother support facilitated by an RN Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Come feed your baby or just chat with other moms about the challenges and triumphs of breastfeeding. Please call for first time registration at 862.781.3873.

The Mom & Baby Nursing Support Group is sponsored by the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center in Eatontown. The Center is a hub for all things wellness for community members of any age.
With an emphasis on education, the LiveWell Center offers free workshops on nutrition, chronic diseases (e.g. heart disease, cancer, overweight/obesity, diabetes), childbirth and postpartum, and mental health. Run by a Registered Dietitian, the Center's Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi Nutrition Education Programming in the innovative WEforum Demonstration Kitchen is dedicated to supporting the community members in their healthy eating journey. Programs include Baby's First Foods, Kids Snack Time and Cooking, Nutrition for Teens and Adult Cooking Demonstrations and Cookalongs. Health education programs, support groups, and gentle movement classes run in classroom-style spaces, with most programs offered on a hybrid basis, allowing individuals to attend in-person or virtually.
