Santa Fe residents can now use a new interactive web application to better understand their wildfire risk, access neighborhood-specific safety tips, and stay informed in emergencies. By entering your home address in the "Wildland Urban Interface Zone Lookup" app, you'll see a neighborhood-level risk assessment, primary hazards, and receive recommendations for hardening your property.

Schedule a Free Home Hazard Assessment

In partnership with the Greater Santa Fe Fireshed Coalition, the city offers free home hazard risk assessments to help residents identify vulnerabilities and improve wildfire resilience. Trained assessors provide personalized recommendations to reduce fire danger around your home and property.

Take Action and Stay Informed

The app also offers neighborhood-specific guidance on landscaping, defensible space, and emergency planning. With Santa Fe ranked among the top wildfire-risk cities in the West, now is the time to act.
