Update: One-Lane and Shoulder Closure on Westbound I-80 Carquinez (Alfred Zampa) Bridge in the cities of Vallejo and Crockett

Rescheduled - Starting: Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to Saturday,
August 15, 2026, 7:00 PM

Solano/Contra Costa Counties - Caltrans construction is scheduled to implement a onelane and shoulder closure on westbound I-80 Carquinez (Alfred Zampa Memorial) Bridge on Friday, August 14, 2026, 6:00 PM, and continues until 7:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026. This work is in preparation for the upcoming 53-hour weekend full closure for a full deck replacement.

Schedule:
Start - Friday, August 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM
End - Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM

Note: Pedestrian/Bike Path is still accessible for the one-lane closure.

Motorists may expect delays and be aware of construction equipment on the deck bridge for the safety of workers and motorists.
