Lane Closures on State Route 49
Tuolumne County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- Alternating lane closures between Wyckoff Street in Sonora and Springfield Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, October 21, through Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
