Country music star Easton Corbin to play at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse Sept. 18

BOZEMAN - Tickets are now available for an Easton Corbin concert at Montana State University's Brick Breeden Fieldhouse set for Friday, Sept. 18.

Doors open at 7 p.m. the night of concert, and special guest Michael Armstrong will play as the show opener.

Corbin has been performing for more than a decade and is known for his blend of traditional and modern country music. His No. 1 singles include "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It," and he has amassed seven top 10 singles and three American Country Awards over his career. He was named Billboard's 2010 Top New Country Artist. His latest 14-song album is called "Let's Do Country Right."

"It's about being authentic, and that's what I always focus on when I write or record," Corbin said in a press release about the tour. "I keep one foot in traditional and one foot in the modern and marry those two. That's really been my motto through the years."

Tickets to the MSU show cost $38 in advance and $43 the day of show, plus processing fees. There is an eight-ticket limit per household, and people can buy them online at montanastate.evenue.net/list/CON or by calling the Fieldhouse Box Office at 1-406-994-CATS.

The concert is part of MSU's Testicle Festival, or "Testy Fest," an annual philanthropic event hosted by the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity's Alpha Delta Chapter to benefit local organizations. This year's proceeds will support Montana FFA and 4-H, Eagle Mount and the YMCA.

Testy Fest is named to honor Montana's rich agricultural history and the storied dish of Rocky Mountain oysters. It is in its 34th year and fourth year at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse; previously featured artists include Rodney Atkins, Casey Donahew, Corey Kent and Randall King.
