Yolo County - Caltrans is advising motorists about overnight construction work for Interstate 80 (I-80) at various on- and off-ramps for nightly repaving and restriping including Enterprise, Reed, Jefferson, Harbor boulevards and connectors.in West Sacramento.

The construction is part of the ongoing $280 million Yolo 80 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. A Caltrans contractor is scheduled for striping on eastbound I-80 throughout the project limits.

A closed ramp will have the following ramp as the alternative exit or entrance.

Schedule: Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday. Expect the ongoing work to last through late July.

Motorists are reminded that the construction zone speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph in Yolo County on U.S. Highway 50 and I-80 in West Sacramento and into Davis. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment and/or material availability, or other unexpected events.

Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to "Be Work Zone Alert" and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.

The department issues construction updates on X @CaltransDist3 and on Facebook at CaltransDistrict3. For real-time traffic, click on Caltrans' QuickMap or download the QuickMap app from the App Store or Google Play.
