Pega Achieves BSI C5 Accreditation in Germany

MUNICH, Germany - 6 March, 2025 - Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), The Enterprise Transformation Company™, today announced it has achieved C5 accreditation (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). This supports Pega's intent to leverage AWS Sovereign Cloud as part of its Pega EU Service Boundary offering, set to launch late 2025.

The BSI C5 accreditation, widely recognized as one of the most demanding certifications for cloud service providers, confirms Pega's adherence to the highest security and compliance standards for its Pega cloud services offering. This certification validates Pega's robust security controls, data protection measures, and transparency in cloud operations, making it an ideal choice for organizations in highly regulated industries, both in the public and private sectors.

The new C5 accreditation means that Pega's cloud services, which were already at a very high level of security, now comply with the highest level of certification required for enterprises in the highly regulated German public and financial services sectors. This will allow more of these organizations to benefit from Pega's cloud solutions.

Quotes & Commentary:

"This achievement is a significant milestone in our commitment to data sovereignty in Germany," said Frank Guerrera, chief cloud officer, Pega. "The combination of BSI C5 accreditation and our upcoming EU Service Boundary demonstrates our dedication to meeting the most stringent security and compliance requirements while providing our customers with the highest level of data protection and operational autonomy."
