Commissioner Causey to tour new Dare County EMS Station 9 in Kitty Hawk

Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will visit Kitty Hawk on Friday, August 15 to tour the new Dare County Emergency Management Station 9, located at 4904 N. Croatan Hwy. <_o3a_p>

The tour will take place at 10 a.m. that morning. Afterwards, Commissioner Causey will address the media to highlight water safety and the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season in North Carolina.<_o3a_p>

Following the tour, Commissioner Causey will visit ocean rescue units in Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head.<_o3a_p>

The peak of hurricane season typically runs from mid-August through mid-October as part of the overall season, which runs from June 1 to Nov. 30.<_o3a_p>
