Carroll and White County Child Abuse Prevention Month Kickoff

The Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS), Indiana Youth Institute (IYI), and Carroll/White Child Abuse Prevention Council are kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Join us for an important panel discussion on how we can work together to prevent child abuse in our communities. This event will bring together child welfare experts to share insights on current challenges, protective factors and local resources available to support children and families.

• Noon -12:10 p.m. - Welcome and introductions
• 12:10 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Mayoral child abuse awareness and sexual assault awareness proclamation
• 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Panel discussion with local child welfare experts
• 1:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.- Closing remarks
• 1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Networking and information sharing
