Adoption of Standardised, Validated and Exclusive UPI IDs for Payment Collection by SEBI Registered Intermediaries

This is with reference to SEBI circular No. SEBI/HO/DEPA-II/DEPA-II_SRG/P/CIR/2025/86 dated June 11, 2025, regarding the captioned subject. The circular is attached as Annexure 1.

In accordance with point no.7 of the above-mentioned circular "Obtaining of "@valid" UPI handle by intermediaries listed at Annexure B" is to be done within T+90 days to T+105 days, T being June 11, 2025, date of SEBI circular.<_o3a_p>

All members are advised to apply for @valid UPI handles on BSE portal within prescribed timelines and ensure compliance. Members who are registered with more than one Exchange are advised to submit the "@valid" UPI handle through one Exchange only.<_o3a_p>

SOP has been attached as Annexure 2 to guide members through the submission and validation process.<_o3a_p>

After submission of "@valid" UPI handle request to the Exchange, members are advised to approach their respective banks to complete the documentation related to obtaining "@valid" UPI handle. Contact details of bank shall be shared separately through email with members.<_o3a_p>
