Permanent Council to Receive Candidates for OAS Assistant Secretary General

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 7 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to receive the candidates for Assistant Secretary General: Ana María Sanchez from Peru, and Laura Gil from Colombia, who will present to the Council their proposals and initiatives for the hemispheric Organization during the 2025-2030 period.
