Contra Costa & Solano Counties - Caltrans continues to perform essential T1 Steel Weld Inspection Project weld inspections and repairs on the Carquinez Bridge (I-80). This work is critical to maintaining the ongoing structural integrity of the bridge. Benicia-Martinez Bridge (I-680) inspections are complete.

Carquinez Bridge closures are now expected to continue through March 2026, weather permitting.

Schedule:
Carquinez Bridge Eastbound I-80 Lane/Ramp Closures

  • Monday-Thursday: 3AM - 1PM
  • Friday [Thursday Night to Friday Morning]-11pm -7AM
  • Saturday: -[Friday Night to Saturday Morning] 11PM - 8AM
    Full Closure: EB I-80 Onramp from Pomona St/San Pablo Ave
    Lane Closures: EB I-80 Lanes 3 and 4 from Refinery Rd to Carquinez Toll Plaza

The work is expected to continue:Carquinez Bridge Closures through March 2026

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Drivers may experience minor delays and are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time. Be work zone alert, drive with caution through the work zone.
