U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson Tours Columbia ATCT/TRACON (CAE)

During a tour of Columbia ATCT/TRACON (CAE), U.S. Representative Joe Wilson (S.C.-2) discussed improving and modernizing the National Airspace System (NAS) with NATCA members. FacReps Anthony Schifano (Charlotte ATCT, CLT) and Dominique-Jonathan "Dom" Russell (Columbia ATCT, CAE) facilitated the tour. The group also discussed ATC staffing levels and the impact six-day work weeks are having on current controllers. At the end of the tour, Rep. Wilson expressed his gratitude for the work controllers are doing to keep the NAS safe on a daily basis and thanked everyone for their service and dedication.
